Fire Station No. 51 Re-roofing (Rebid)

Pre-Pid Information:
MANDATORY PRE-BID: A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Fire Station #51 at 5921 Shelby Oaks Drive, Memphis, TN on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 am. It is mandatory that parties interested in bidding on this project attend this meeting. Failure to attend the pre-bid meeting will count against said “good faith effort“ as required by the SBE program.

Project Description:

Work includes removing existing shingle roofing system down to deck; installing new shingle roofing system, flashing, fascia, and trim, and performing related plumbing, HVAC and electrical modifications as indicated on drawings, as specified and as required for proper completion of the work.

Examination of Site:
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall personally visit the site of proposed work and arrive at a clear understanding of the conditions under which the work is to be performed. No consideration will beallowed subsequently by reason of error or oversight on the part of the bidder or on account ofinterference by either the City or existing conditions. Neglecting any of the above requirements will notbe acceptable as reason for delay in the work or for adjustments of the contract sum. Bidders must make an appointment with Christina Ortega (Project Manager – City of Memphis at telephone #901-636-4215 to visit the project site.
